Your Skin Transformation Timeline:
Microneedling is a journey, not an instant fix. While your skin starts repairing itself immediately, the most significant changes happen deep beneath the surface over several weeks.
Phase 1: The "Sunburn" Glow (Days 1–3)
• What’s happening: Your skin is in inflammatory mode. Blood flow has increased to the area to begin repairs.
• What you see: Redness, slight swelling, and a "plump" look. This is often called the "honeymoon phase" because the minor swelling fills in fine lines temporarily.
Phase 2: The Renewal (Days 4–14)
• What’s happening: The "micro-channels" have closed, and your skin is shedding old cells to make way for new ones.
• What you see: You might experience some light flaking or "sandpaper" texture. By day 7, your skin should feel smoother and look brighter as the surface layers renew.
